REVIEW: The Blue Umbrella Pours Down Water Full Of Emotion

Pixar poured us yet another short film. Not only is this my favorite Pixar short so far, “The Blue Umbrella” is the most realistic animation I’ve ever seen. Set in a busy street in the rain, the short follows the relationship between two umbrellas- one blue and one red umbrella. The music, from composer Jon Brion, makes the emotion pour out. I love how inanimate objects such as the gutters, drains, and more, come to life. This short truly captures the emotion standpoint that I appeal to. Congrats to director Saschka Unseld, producer Marc Greenberg, composer Jon Brion, and the rest of the crew on creating such a wonderful short!
